Hunan People’s Publishing House (HPPH), founded in January 1951, is a comprehensive press with its stress on the publication of books of philosophy and social science. The house consists of 6 editorial departments dealing with political theory, economics and law, literature and history, foreign languages, teaching materials, arts respectively.
