This book studies the harmonious and co-existing relationship between ancient Chinese architecture and environment in the light of ancient Chinese paintings. This book introduces briefly the history of ancient Chinese architecture and paintings, and then sets them on the same flat vividly, integrating concrete styles of architecture and paintings to analyze deeply the mutual relations between them with the clue of time and characters.

Author Profile
Wang Qijun, doctor, after graduating from School of Architecture in Tsinghua University, he settled in Toronto, Canada in 1996. He specialized in architecture theories and painting. In recent years, he has published many books about architecture, art and painting to introduce the domestic and overseas excellent architecture and art works.
