"Uncle Doggie's Nirvana" is a modern Chinese play, written by Jin Yun. The play was first published in 1986 and debuted by the Beijing People's Arts Theater in October 1986 in Beijing. The play is deep in thought and philosophy. The lead character's behavior, mentality, and inner feelings are all deeply explored. In order to highlight the profound emotions of the character, the author adopts multiple methods in writing combining Uncle Doggie's memory and flashbacks, as well as externalization of the character's psychology.
