Zhou Daxin was born in 1952 as a native of Dengzhou (Henan). He has started to publish works since 1979. He has publishes novels, essays and other works totaling more than three million Chinese characters, including short stories Girls from Han Family and small clinics winning National Award for Best Short Story. Some works have been translated into English, French, German and Korean.
