This book, based on the Chinese fossils, mainly discusses the life evolution progress, including the originations and evolutions of some lives, the radiation in some important history period and the evolution of ocean biodiversity, and tries to get some hints of biology evolutions from the record of Chinese fossils. As one of the most important part of this book, the radiation is a crucial component of life history, but it is seldom illustrated in the evolution textbooks. Materials in China have got a number of important witnesses for this. The evolution of palaeozoic ocean biodiversity has never been fully researched in China before. On the basis of establishing all kinds of fossils database, this book discusses the evolution and the controlling facts of palaeozoic ocean biodiversity from the early palaeozoic period to Mesozoic period in South China, and provides a systematic material for the research work of palaeobiodiversity changes. A massive amount of researches prove that the different strength of changes has influenced the life evolution progress and biodiversities, and in the other hand, lives strongly influenced the change of ecology condition on earth surface.
