Male,born on May 31, 1931,the Han nationality,native of Wuxue City,Hubei Province, Full Senior Editor (Full Professor Editor). Graduated from English Faculty of Beijing Institute of Foreign Languages (now Beijing Foreign Studies University) in 1955.

Working as translator in State Science and Technology Commission (now Ministry of Science and Technology), and Institute of Scientific and Technical Information of China; Editor, Deputy Chief of International Cooperation Department, Associate Senior Editor, Full Senior Editor of Science Press under Chinese Academy of Sciences.
