Contents Briefing

Li Xu was tightly connected with Delamu, for being one of the six original namers of this road. In the 15 years after the naming of Delamu, he traveled continously from those tea producing areas, including Xishuangbanna, Pu'er, Ya'an, etc., to the borders of the countries of Yadong and Pulan. He travelled along Delamu and his footmarks covered every single road cutting through the Altiplano. His journey was planned to cover India, Nepal, Kashimir, and so on. From tropic rain forests to peaks and mountains covered with ice and snow, he witnessed the terrific magnificent seneries on the road, spectacular for the sharp differences and diversities. Minority groups living in this area colored their different living-styles with different religious believes and various cultural traditions.
