Su Qing

Su Qing (1914-1982), original name of Feng Yunzhuang, the representative of Shanghai style writers, was a famous novelist, essayist and scriptwriter in China. He entered into at National Center University (Nanjing University now) for foreign language studies in 1933.

Su Qing issued some essays that expressed something boring in 1935, including "Giving A Birth". After divorced in 1940s, she became a full-time writer and cooperated with the journals of "Universe Wind", "past and present", "Wind and Rain" and "Sky and Land", etc.

She published the full-length autobiography "Ten Years of Marriage" in 1943, which made her famous as an adventurous female writer at that time. This book had been re-published for 18 times until 1948. Besides, she wrote a great deal of essays, including "Wave", "Collection of Passed Water" and "Astray Beauty", etc.
