Professor Chen Zhengdong, the advisor of MA student, graduated from Shanghai Normal University for English language and literature in 1985. And he studied English language at The University of Sydney and obtained the MA degree in 2005. His major orientations are translation and interpretation of English, commercial English and foreign language teaching.

The representative works include "Discovery of Training Pattern of Interpretation Courses" (China Translation, No.4, 2008), "The Meaning and Operation of Understanding Process during the Translation Teaching" (China Translation, No.1), "Metaphor and Translation of Commercial English" and "Brief Introduction of Translation of Logo", etc.
