This yearbook is the only professional reference that comprehensively records the development of China’s copyright undertaking and systematically reflects the overall status of China’s copyright invention, protection and management. It’s rich in contents, reliable in data, user-friendly, authoritative, practical and of historical value. The Yearbook 2009 is the first volume, consisting of 1.25 million characters, 18 sections and over 40 columns, contains the important literature and articles of 2008 on copyright issues, summarizes the overall status, active information, typical cases, literature and documents, academic achievements and statistical data of national copyright protection and administration, and illustrates the development of copyright-related industry and trade of our nation, as well as the effective copyright protection measures during Olympia 2008. A volume will be compiled and published every year from now on.
