Wang Yiqiang, who was born in Jiangsu province in 1940, graduated from the Russian department of Xi'an Foreign Language Institute. He worked as a teacher, a principal and a cadre of bureau of education. At present he is the deputy director of Xi'an Translators Association. In sixties last century, he began to translate literary and artistic works. And the translated works amounted to hundreds.

The representative works of Wang include "Youth•Love•Imagine", "Forests and Leaf" and "The Lady in My Heart".
