Jiao Juyin

Jiao Juyin (1905~1975), the original name of Jiao Chengzhi and the pen name of Ju Ying, Ju Yin and Liang Chou, was born in Tianjin and graduated from Yanching University. He worked as the president of Peking No. 2 Middle School, the president of Peking Chinese Opera Opera School, the professor of GuangXi University, GuangXi Research Institute, Chongqing Social Education Institute, Peking Normal University, etc. He began to publish articles in 1934 and joined into Chinese Writers Association in 1955.

The representative translations include "Requiem", "Nana", "Uncle Vanya", "The Cherry Orchard", etc. Moreover, he published some monographs, such as "On the Light", "Criticism of Drama", etc.
