Zhou Xuliang (1905~1984), who was born in Anhui province, is the DPP member. And he is a famous English literature translator, professor, poet and writer. His major works included in "Zhou Xuliang Papers".
He graduated from Shanghai Datong University in 1924, in 1928, he graduated from Chemistry Department of Guanghua University, and then in 1932, he finished his student life in the University of Edinburgh with major in literature. He worked as the professor and department president of Jinan University, Sichuan University, Guanghua University, Wuhan University and East China Normal University. Moreover, he is the deputy editor in chief of "Foreign Philosophy & Social Science Digest", deputy secretary-general of Shanghai Federation of Literature and Art, etc.
The representative works include "Cosmos", "The Shropshire Lad", "The Water Babies", "The Forsyte Saga", etc.
