On the afternoon of Aug. 30, China Renmin University Press and Pearson Education Group held a signing ceremony for publishing the English edition of former state leader Li Ruihuan's key work titled A Path to Truth, in the Activities Zone in CBI, the 17th Beijing International Book Fair (BIBF).
A Path to Truth is another item of cooperation on outbound copyrights licensing that China Renmin University Press launched with Pearson Education Group to promote and introduce excellent Chinese works overseas, following the deals on the titles of Learning Philosophy Using Philosophy, Exploration of Reform and Opening-up, and On Democracy. A Path to Truth is a work that reflects Li Ruihuan's participation in the process of China's reform and opening-up and modernization progress, as well as displays his experiences in combining his application of the basic principles of Marxism and his idea of governance.
Huang Xian, president of Pearson Education Group Greater China Region held that publication of the English edition of A Path to Truth will help overseas readers get a overall thinking about China's reform and opening-up, and learn about the working-out and implementation of some of China's national policies as well as many of Chinese leaders' ideas of governance.
