Xue Yanwen, who was born in 1949 in Hebei province, is a member of the Communist Party of China. He went and settled in outskirts of Harbin in Heilongjiang Province form 1969 to 1973. In 1976, he graduated from Chinese Department of Fudan University. After graduation he worked as a editor, director, deputy president, president and chief editor of Baihua Literature and Art Publishing House. And he joined in Chinese Writers Association in 2007.
The representative works include "Riding Alone for Thousands of Miles", "Pearl Harbor memories", etc.
